One of the easiest ways to support your body during summer is to eat foods that naturally grow during this season.

Traditional Chinese Medicine teaches that nature provides exactly what we need when we need it.

Summer brings an abundance of juicy, hydrating foods that help cool the body and support the Heart.

Many of these foods happen to be red, the color associated with the Fire Element. Watermelon, strawberries, cherries, raspberries, tomatoes, and red bell peppers are all plentiful this time of year. These foods not only provide important nutrients and hydration, but also help us stay in harmony with the season.

This week, challenge yourself to add a few colorful summer foods to your plate and notice how your body responds.
